Teeny Teeths Commitment to sustainability

At Teeny Teeth, we are dedicated to sustainability and actively take steps to minimize our environmental impact. Our goal is to balance what is good for you, good for the environment, and good for your pocket.

Like you, we are continually learning and evolving in our approach to sustainability. Here are some of the ways we are helping to reduce our environmental footprint:

Recycling Plastic Toothbrushes

We encourage you to send your used plastic toothbrushes back to Teeny Teeth Headquarters. We don’t resell these items; instead, we recycle them responsibly through the TerraCycle program.

About TerraCycle: TerraCycle provides recycling solutions for waste streams not typically handled by local kerbside recyclers. The ability to recycle locally depends on whether the recycling process is profitable. If the cost of collecting and processing the waste is lower than the value of the raw material produced, it will likely be recyclable locally. If the costs are higher, it likely won’t be. The good news is that most waste is technically recyclable, and TerraCycle can handle hard-to-recycle items by partnering with brands, retailers, and other stakeholders who fund the recycling process.

Recycling Food Grade Silicone Products

We also accept used food-grade silicone products back at Teeny Teeth Headquarters for sustainable recycling through the Nil Harm, Nil Waste program.

About Silicone and the Nil Harm, Nil Waste Program: Silicone is a polymer made from silica (sand), offering a durable and sustainable alternative to plastic for everyday products. It’s non-toxic, can withstand extreme temperatures without leaching harmful chemicals, and is odor- and stain-resistant. Silicone’s long-lasting nature makes it a better and more sustainable option compared to plastic.

What Can Be Recycled? Any food-grade silicone product, such as kitchen utensils or baby feeding items, can be sent in for recycling.
